Velvet dresses and plain black flats: OUTFIT POST.

So, in a perfect world I would totally rock this dress with some glittery bordello teeze heels shown here, a big black belt and a lot more makeup (although in a perfect world I would also have long flowing mermaid hair, but there you go). However, I wanna show you what I actually wear from day to day and dream outfits sometimes aren't a completely realistic option, unfortunately.

This dress definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves at all, but it always makes me feel super fancy when I put it on as if I'm invited somewhere super important (unfortunately the only place I actually went today was Sainsburys). I think that wearing something that makes you feel 'all dressed up' is super underrated a lot of the time. Finally, this dress was just 3 ENGLISH POUNDS because it is actually quite 80s-tastic but I don't mind, I will literally buy anything if it's that price (well not ANYTHING).

My hair is being particularly awful today so you know, just ignore that.

I have a lot of work to do this week for university which kinda sucks, especially as it's all to do with research methods and quantitative data which is basically everything I hate ever. But, after this month I have a ton of gigs that I am playing coming up which are all going to be super fun. Also, Willy Mason is playing at The Sugarmill in Stoke on Trent on May 15th, and honestly it is kinda gonna be amazing so if you live close get your butt down and show some support for live music.

As for today, I am gonna watch some bad horror films and try to get some work done. Have a great Monday! xo

Say Something Sunday: Favourite films.

Okay okay, so I know it isn't technically sunday but the reason this is late is because I wrote up a whole post about the film 'Nosferatu' and then decided to save it because I was super happy with how it came out and think I might use it for something else. Unfortunately, this means that I'm just gonna have to do a rushed post now. None the less, I have decided to compile my ten favourite films and put them in a list for you all, because, well lists are nice aren't they?
In no particular order...

1. Old Boy (2003)

2. Fargo (1996)

3. Ghost World (2001)

4. No Country for Old Men (2007)

5. Nosferatu (1922)

6. Pans Labyrinth (2006)

7. Coraline (2009)

8. The Shining (1980)

9. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

10. Frankenstein (1931)

After compiling this list I totally realised that my taste in films is a total downer, so probably best to avoid having a movie marathon with me. There was a few other films that it pained me not to put on but I feel like these are the films I could watch again and again and keep noticing new things I love about them!
What are some of your favourite films?!
Love and Hugz xoxo

Outfit of the Day!

Hello friendz! For my second blog post I thought it would be fun to post about one of my favourite things, clothes! Now, I am not beginning to claim that I have any sense of style what so ever, but I do like dressing up and wearing pretty dresses! I'm a big lover of sweet steals and charity shop finds, so let's take a look at what I wore today.

This dress is a total firm favourite in my wardrobe. I am pretty crazy about browns, yellows and slightly obscene patterns so it fits the bill pretty perfectly! PS please ignore my derp face, I'm new at this posing malarky haha!

Speaking of sweet steals, these shoes were a lovely 2 english pounds, still can't quite get over it!

So if you see a gal wearing this today, it's probably me so come say hi!
Hope you enjoyed my first ever outfit post!

Monday mornings.

Well, first of all let me say hi and welcome to my blog Planet Loserz! This is a place for me to write a little about my life and post photos of ridiculous cute things. If you would like to follow me on tumblr head to www.seashelly.tumblr.com. No need to be shy, come say hello!

I am currently back at my parents house as it is easter break at university. I have found myself with not a lot to do, and have been trying to get to a bit of adventuring every now and again! I really like riding my bike and so took a little trip today! There were some adorable lambs and sheep on the way so I just had to get some photographs, and of course my cats Bootsie and Snudge have to feature (duh!)
This is my bike. it is a bobbin bicycle with no gears and pedal brakes! Despite it being entirely impractical, I am beyond in love with it!
 CUTE OVERLOAD.

I love this photo, I just think it is the sweetest!

This is Snudge, trying to catch the sun and looking a little moody!
Bootsie is a little shyer and was being incredibly resistant to my attempts at charming him towards the camera haha!

So, that was my Monday morning! A pretty good one if I do say so myself. Tonight I am making falafel burgers, having a beer and then heading to a friends to do some university assignments, sounds pretty good to me. What has everyone else got in store for their monday night?

Have a magical day! xo
